The Day: What started over a cup or coffee evolved into a fairytale wedding. The bride started the day aboard a private yacht. She stayed hidden in the top deck, sipping champagne with her bridesmaids and special friends while the groom and guests were picked up at Camp Richardson for their journey to Vikingsholm Castle in Emerald Bay. Guests enjoyed the beauty of the lake while a peaceful ambiance was created with Avalanche Violin & Guitar . Once in the bay the boat docked and the wedding party and guests headed for the Vikingsholm Courtyard to be married amongst the pines in one of Tahoe's most special places.
After the ceremony the Lake Tahoe Cruises Yacht whisked the group back to a private home on the shores of the Lake, for a reception catered byBlue Onion. Wonderful food, music, floral arrangements designed by Thrans Flowers a cake created by Lorraines Boulangerie and an unforgettable Lake Tahoe sunset capped an incredible event. After the reception shuttles took the guests safely back to their residences. No glass slippers, pumpkin or evil stepmother in this fairytale wedding, just a fabulous tahoe lake front wedding.
